Islip man faces charges for robbing Apple Savings Bank in Lindenhurst

An Islip man was set to be arraigned Saturday for allegedly robbing a Lindenhurst bank nearly two years ago.

An Islip man was set to be arraigned Saturday for allegedly robbing a Lindenhurst bank nearly two years ago.
Suffolk police say Alan Koeppel, 42, robbed the Apple Savings Bank on East Sunrise Highway near North Indiana Avenue in May 2019.
News 12 is told Koeppel handed the teller a note demanding cash, and fled with an unknown amount of money.
The 42-year-old is facing third degree robbery charges.
