An island-wide task force is being announced today to coordinate the reopening of parks.
All 13 town supervisors will take part in the task force.
The group is expected to announce a goal of May 18, to issue joint guidelines for parks, as well as beaches and playgrounds.
The idea is to sync up the timing of reopenings to avoid a surge in crowds at one location.
