Islanders shop for charity in Carle Place

It's a big time of year for charity and the New York Islanders are scoring big for sick kids. News 12 Long Island's Erin Colton was with the team on their toy shopping spree at Toys R Us in Carle Place.

It's a big time of year for charity and the New York Islanders are scoring big for sick kids.
News 12 Long Island's Erin Colton was with the team on their toy shopping spree at Toys R Us in Carle Place. 
The players will purchase toys for children in local hospitals, sponsored by the Islanders Children's Foundation
The players will then hand deliver the toys purchased on Dec. 10 to Maimonides Medical Center, Stony Brook University Medical Center, Cohen's Children's Medical Center, and Nassau University Medical Center at their annual hospital visit event.
