Islanders reveal Zach Parise signing
The Islanders were quiet this offseason in announcing their contract signings but revealed Friday that former Devils and Wild star Zach Parise is joining the team.
"I know personally that I’ve still got a lot of good hockey left in me," Parise said.
Parise spent nine seasons in Minnesota before the team bought him out this offseason. Prior to that, he was an All-Star and captain of the Devils.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Parise is the son of J.P. Parise, a beloved player for the Islanders in the 1970s.
