8h agoThe New York Islanders hosted the Race to the Rink event at UBS Arena Sunday for a good cause.
Instead of hitting the ice, people pounded the pavement in a 5K run to support the Islanders Children’s Foundation.
Runners wore blue and orange as they run along the paved route around the arena.
Participants also got to check out table vendors, and proceeds helped support Easterseals New York.
