The Islanders and the NHL announced that a watch party is
set for Islanders fans at the Nassau Coliseum on Monday.
The Islanders tied up the Stanley Cup semifinal in dramatic
fashion Saturday night at the Nassau Coliseum. The series heads to Tampa Bay on
Monday for Game 5.
Legislators John Ferretti (R, Levittown), Bill Gaylor (R,
Lynbrook) and Tom Mckevitt (R, East Meadow) sent out a release about the watch
party on late Sunday afternoon. It reads:
“Last week we sent a letter to the Islanders offering to
assist them in setting up a community watch party. We are happy to see that the
Majority’s offer gained traction and fans will have the option to watch the
Isles crush the Lightning together on Monday!”
The watch party will be inside of the arena. Tickets will be
$10 with proceeds benefitting the Islander's Children Foundation.
