Police have identified the body found on Sunday in Wantagh.

Authorities say 27-year-old Marvin Antonio Fuentes Serrano sustained numerous stab wounds.

The body was discovered shortly after 4 p.m. in the Mill Pond Park Preserve slumped over a log.

Fuentes Serrano's sister, Alisa Osoreo, of Roosevelt, says her brother was a tranquil person. She says he was in the U.S. to make money in hopes of bringing his wife and 5-year-old son from Honduras to the states.
