A business was issued summonses for violations after a fire broke out a building in Nassau Thursday night.
Authorities say the fire happened at a cabinet manufacturing company on Hillsboro Avenue in Elmont before 10 p.m.
Investigators say the likely cause was a buildup of fumes from chemicals being used there.
News 12 was told summonses for multiple violations were issued to the business.
No injuries were reported.
