Starting
today, there are new options for fun places to bring kids. New York State is
allowing family entertainment centers to reopen, with restrictions in place.
Indoor capacity will be limited to 25% and 33% at
outdoor venues.
Face
coverings and social distancing will still be required and temperature checks
will be taken prior to entry.
In addition, everyone will be required to provide
information for contact tracing.
While
some say they're excited for the reopening, others say they're going to wait a
bit before they venture out to those spots.
"Just
because people are getting the vaccination doesn't mean it's all cured,"
says Brigida Dickson, of Central Islip. "It's still
out there. Especially with the variants and all that."
