State officials announced Tuesday there is an increased reward for any information regarding a 1990 New Haven cold case.

Prosecutors are offering $50,000 for information on the death of John Robinson. On March 14, Robinson's body was found at 178 Temple St., Suite 208. Police were contacted after a person reported a foul order coming from that location.

An autopsy concluded the cause of death to be craniocerebral trauma and the case was ruled a homicide.

Officials say shortly after Robinson's death a $20,000 reward was issued, but it did not produce any significant leads.

Police say they hope by increasing the reward amount, they will receive new information.

Anyone with information, no matter how small, is asked to contact police at 1-888-888TIPS or 203-946-6296 or Text “Tips” to 274637.
