Nassau police say a Seaford resident “bothering” elementary students on a school playground Thursday resulted in calls for their presence during Friday’s dismissal.
Police say it happened Thursday at Seaford Harbor School.
The district superintendent sent out a letter to families Friday about the incident.
Nassau police say one individual was taken to a local hospital.
In the letter to families, district officials say it involved a "a known, nearby homeowner has been disruptive and exhibiting concerning conduct."
Nassau police have not yet said who the individual is.
