Socially distanced movie showings will be helping Long Islanders in Suffolk County with food insecurity.
Huntington officials announced more than 4,000 food items and $300 were donated by residents, collected during the drive-in movie nights at Walt Whitman Mall.
Officials are encouraging organizations to consider a food-drive if they're holding gatherings.
