An experienced hunter was found guilty Tuesday of killing a father of three with a bow and arrow in Mastic. Thomas Sirico shot 27-year-old Juan Carlos Munoz with a high-powered bow and arrow in January after an argument. Witnesses say Munoz saved the life of a 3-year-old girl by shielding her from the arrow. The jury convicted Sirico on the more serious charge of second-degree murder, instead of criminally negligent homicide. Sirico faces 25 years to life when he's sentenced next month.
