A housekeeper from Freeport has been arrested and accused of stealing from her employers.
Police say Patricia Pavon stole $11,000 cash and $5,000 worth of jewelry from a Freeport home where she worked.
Homeowner Tony Moreno then alerted his family members who also employed Pavon. Police say they found her ripping off a home in Uniondale, stealing $60,000 in jewelry.
Police say she stole $76,000 in cash and jewels from both families.
Pavon was held on $60,000 bail. Prosecutors told the judge she was a flight risk because she was scheduled to fly to Honduras Friday morning.
Police say she may have had more victims. Anyone with information can reach out to Nassau police at 516-573-6152.
