TONIGHT’S STORMS: Severity will be affected by how much these storms wear themselves out on the way to New York City, as they are moving in from the north and west.
BRIGHT SIDE? Potential storms clear out before Fourth of July. The holiday will be spectacular overall, dry, mostly sunny and perfect for outdoor activities, barbeques, enjoying the sun at the park or firework observation.
OVERNIGHT: Storms clear early, leaving partly cloudy skies. Lows in the high 60s and low 70s.
FRIDAY: FOURTH OF JULY! Mostly sunny. 10/10 day for outdoor activities and firework viewing at night. Highs in the middle 80s, lows in the high 60s.
THE WEEKEND: Trending dry! Highs in the middle to higher 80s, lows in the low to middle 70s. Plenty of sunshine to go around.
NEXT WEEK: Rain chances start early with showers and thunderstorms looking possible starting Tuesday and continuing into middle parts of next week. Temperatures pop around throughout the 80s and low 90s, with lows in the low to middle 70s.
