A Holbrook woman was arrested and charged with selling drugs out of her family?s Holbrook home.
Police say neighbor?s complaints led to a raid of her Hummel Avenue home Saturday morning. Inside, they found an assortment of drugs, including 80 bags of heroine, four grams of cocaine, methadone and suboxone pills?all allegedly belonging to Caitlin Treston, 20.
Many of Treston?s neighbors were shocked to hear the news. ?That sweet innocent girl? I can?t believe it,? Peter DiGuardia says.
Neighbors say Treston and her family have lived here for years. They say they?ve watched her grow up?riding her bike and playing outside.
Police say that in addition to the drugs, Treston also had over $500 on her when emergency services raided her home. Treston?s family members refused to comment.
Neighbors have mixed emotions about the situation. Some say they feel for the family, while others say that if Treston is guilty, police should simply do what they need to do.
Treston was arraigned Sunday in Central Islip.
