Hofstra University students are planning to cover Election Day just like any other news station in the country.
Around 150 students from a variety of majors are participating in "Hofstra Votes Live."
The college-run show will air Tuesday from 8 p.m. to midnight with students playing all roles from anchors to producers, camera operators and directors.
"They're learning how to do everything in breaking news situations...go with the flow," says Nicole Clarity, an assistant journalism professor at the school.
Their coverage will be on Hofstra's radio station and online.
