It’s been an awesome season so far for Hofstra goalie Skylar Kuzmich.

Kuzmich has recorded four straight shutouts and five in the last six games. She’s a huge reason why the Pride are ranked 14th in the country.

But she can’t take all the credit. Kuzmich told News 12 she owes a lot of her success to her defenders. On top of that, she's also playing with a ton of confidence right now.

“Making those big time saves, it's an adrenaline rush,” said Kuzmich. “That's why I love being a goalkeeper. It's the adrenaline rush of making that game-winning save and allowing your team to keep moving forward in the game.”
