After years of extensive work, a historic Long Island lighthouse is now complete.
It was shut down for three years for a restoration that costed more than $1 million.
Some new improvements include adding steel and concrete barriers, as well as five-ton boulders around the foundation.
The lighthouse will once again be open to tour starting this coming Sunday.
