All right, we are on storm watch back in the weather center with Rich. Now, it's really depending where you are is where the impacts. Yeah, we've got anywhere from about 1 to 4 inches of rain. We had some wind gusts earlier this morning overnight, around 40 to 45 MPH. So a lot of people slept through the worst of the weather, but we've had some residual flooding. We've seen the flooding on Jericho. We've seen some of the flooding on some of the major roads and you got to watch out for some of the flooding on the sides of the roads and the roads are very slick with the leaves down. Still the wet weather is out here. Now, going throughout the rest of the morning, the weather will be getting better. Here's our view in riverhead out towards old country road, trees have been moving a little bit. So that means the winds have diminished at times here as we take a look at Riverhead and outside our Beth Page studio, here's Stewart Avenue right now, outside our Beth Page studio, we have light rain with a wind right now. Around 25 MPH. And what you will also notice this morning, the colder weather moving in. Let's take a look at this air. Temperatures are in the forties. Wind chills now, 34 at Hemp said 37 Bay Shore, 36 mit. Down 39. We ahead to 41 in Montauk. It's turning colder so it's got that chill to the air now and we are watching the rain moving on through, we've had snow in, through Sussex County into New Jersey, up through the Hudson Valley, into the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. Now, for us on Long Island, it's a cold rain this morning. And during the afternoon here comes that sunshine. So when does the rain end? Well, we're going to start to see that rain taper off west to east this morning. And by noontime we're going to start to see that sunshine. So the weather gets better this afternoon, temperatures in the mid forties, it will be breezy. And then tonight turning colder, low temperatures, upper twenties and low thirties. So throughout the day, we're keeping an eye to the sky. Notice around noon time, there's your sunshine, a few clouds, it's dry. Your evening rush hour will be dry then overnight clear skies. Tomorrow morning, temperatures are in the upper twenties to low thirties. So it's a cold start to your Tuesday and most of your week is looking pretty nice. So, recapping today, the rainy conditions this morning, the slick roads, you need to watch out for some localized street flooding towards noon. Skies are starting to clear so the weather gets better to closer to noon that we get highs in the mid forties tonight. Upper twenties to around 30 degrees. It's cold. Here's that extended forecast.
