The show’s theme, ‘Celebrations Around the World’, takes inspiration from iconic and diverse festivals worldwide like Oktoberfest, Carnival, Chinese Lunar New Year, Holi, Dia de los Muertos, and even Fourth of July.
There are over 7,000 plants on display, of over 300 different varieties. The plants are encouraged to bloom specifically for the show, so each time visitors come, they can expect something new.

Usually the Flower and Garden show is two weeks long. This is the longest running in its 34-year history. The show takes place inside Hicks Nurseries in Westbury. It’s free to attend and runs from March 7 to March 31.
