A Long Island resident is facing charges after a 10-year-old boy was shot by a stray bullet in a Staten Island home.
The NYPD says Semion Mosheshvili, from Hewlett, was at a family gathering last night when he picked up the homeowner's licensed gun and it went off.
The bullets went through the floor and hit the boy in his shoulder.
He is expected to survive.
Mosheshvili initially left the scene, but eventually turned himself into police.
