2ds agoA Riverhead man accused of driving drunk with a 6-year-old child inside the car Sunday is facing charges.
Police say they pulled over 30-year-old Jonnathan Vinicio Cardenas-Arias just before midnight on Nugent Drive.
Officers determined that he was intoxicated and arrested him after discovering the young girl in the vehicle.
He was charged with DWI in violation of Leandra’s Law and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
