Hempstead mom charged after allegedly stabbing dog in face
<p>Stephanie Penado was charged Wednesday with aggravated cruelty to animals after prosecutors say the 26-year-old "intentionally stabbed her sister's dog several times with a large kitchen knife on his face and back."</p>
