A Hempstead man has died after being hit by an SUV Friday. Police say Troy Pittman was crossing Henry Street in Hempstead when he was struck. Pittman suffered a head injury and died at the hospital

A Hempstead man has died after being hit by an SUV Friday.
Police say Troy Pittman was crossing Henry Street in Hempstead when he was struck.
Pittman suffered a head injury and died at the hospital Saturday.
The driver of the SUV stopped and is not facing any charges.
