2ds agoA Hempstead man has been convicted of robbing and stabbing the owner of an Amityville funeral home.
Jason Funderburke and another man walked up to the victim and demanded money.
The pair showed the victim a photo of his family to threaten him.
They stabbed him twice, stole his wallet and phone and ran off.
The incident happened in August of 2023.
Funderburke faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
