A Hempstead man is accused of multiple robberies in his hometown.
Earlier this month, police say Lesean Armstead stole pants from VIM on Main Street and punched an employee multiple times.
About a week later, they say the 36-year-old stole money at gunpoint from the cashier at Chicken and Sub Deli on Fulton Avenue.
Armstead is also accused of stealing a 7-Eleven employee's wallet, then punching and kicking him until he was unconscious.
That alleged attack happened outside the store on South Franklin Street in Hempstead.
