- Leftover haze this evening with temperatures in the 70s. Air quality will improve into Saturday.
- There's a dry spell through the weekend into early next week. More humid and hot conditions are expected to develop.
- The next chance of rain is the middle of next week with an approaching front.
- A heat wave is likely next week with at least three days at or above 90 degrees.
- TRACKING THE TROPICS: We're currently monitoring three areas of interest in the Atlantic basin. Tropical Storm Dexter will become extratropical later on this morning as it continues to move away from the Northeast coastline posing no direct threat to land. The other tropical disturbances have a low to medium chance of further development along the Southeastern coast of the US and the central Tropical Atlantic over the next seven days. The tropical disturbance off the southeastern coast is kicking up the surf and bringing a rip current risk to the ocean facing beaches. Stay tuned for updates!
