Health officials say this year there is a new warning about the flu season because a certain strain could be particularly dangerous.
Federal health officials say small clusters of the so-called H3N2 flu are already popping up.
According to officials, it is worse this year because of the recent hurricanes and wildfires that have disrupted medical routines and forced people into close contact at shelters.
The CDC says last year only about 47 percent of the people got vaccinated.
