News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Julian Seawright says weather will dramatically improve with most of the workweek looking sunny and warm.
The weather will drastically improve in the next 24 hours, turning cooler. Most of the workweek will be sunny and will gradually warm up by the weekend.
The weekend forecast looks pretty good for the Long Island, with conditions returning to a more summer feel as we climb back into the 80s.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Skies clearing and much cooler. Lows in the mid-60s.
TUESDAY: Skies will decrease, giving a partly sunny day with very pleasant conditions. Highs in the mid-70s. Lows in the mid-60s.
WEDNESDAY: Pick of the week: Mostly sunny, comfortable with low humidity. Highs in the low to mid-70s. Lows in the upper 50s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and still pleasant. Highs in the mid-70s. Lows near 60 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and a little warmer. Highs near 80 degrees. Lows in the mid-60s.
