The MacArthur Business Alliance invited local businesses to network at an airport hangar Thursday in Ronkonkoma.

The "HangarFest" at MacArthur Airport is designed to highlight what local businesses bring to their communities.

Organizers say they want to get businesses in the area the recognition they deserve.

The event also raised money for the American Heart Association at the Heart of the Hamptons.
