After a long battle over permits with the town of East Hampton, an Amagansett landmark has closed its doors.
Cyril's Fish House on Napeague Stretch in Amagansett has drawn large summer crowds for decades, but a message on its website says the restaurant has closed and is having a yard sale on May 28.
Cyril's was recently found guilty in town court of expanding its space illegally.
The business also faced new restrictions on how many people it could serve at a time.
