Volunteers from Habitat For Humanity of Long Island are helping give one Suffolk County family a place to live.
The walls were raised on a new affordable home Friday in Wyandanch for Glenda and her family.
They will soon be able to move in thanks to the Equal Housing Opportunity Program.
The family will also help build the home. They will be taking classes on how to budget and care for their future home.
This is Habitat for Humanity's sixth home being built in Wyandanch.
