A Greenlawn middle school student was suspended for allegedly making verbal threats. Rumors are swirling among the student body that the boy made a hit list of classmates he didn?t like.

Talk of the alleged hit list filled the lunch room at Oldfield Middle School Tuesday.

"I'm scared out of my mind,? seventh-grader Erin Zimmerman says. ?I don't want to go to school anymore." Zimmerman says friends told her she was on the list and she says she knows the boy allegedly behind it.

However, Harborfields Central School District officials say they know nothing of a hit list. They say only that the student was suspended for making verbal threats. District officials say they are communicating with parents and staff to inform them of the situation.
