Two break-ins in a Great Neck neighborhood are prompting residents to lock their doors and remain vigilant.
Yavid Yaghoubian says a burglar used a crowbar to enter the front door of his Maple Street home Monday. Yaghoubian?s son Yoni says the culprit knew what he wanted once he was inside and says the man had been watching the home.
Police say the burglar then hit a home on nearby Willow Lane. He entered through an unlocked front door while a woman and her grandchildren were home. No one was injured.
Police say burglars often look for easy access so they recommending locking all entrances.
