A grand jury will now decide if a Nassau County man will face criminal charges for shooting his friend and fellow Malverne firefighter during a hunting accident.
Charles Bruce was shot in the chest and killed while hunting in upstate Otsego County in November.
An upstate district attorney says he is asking a grand jury to consider criminally negligent homicide charges.
The district attorney says he has been hunting for years and has never seen a human that looked like a deer.
The name of the shooter has not been released.
