Gov. Hochul honors first responders from Farmingdale HS bus crash

More than 200 police, firefighters and medics were honored by Gov. Kathy Hochul Monday at a ceremony in Albany.
The emergency workers were recognized for their bravery and professionalism after responding to a bus crash off I-84 in upstate Orange County on Sept. 21.
The bus was filled with members of the Farmingdale High School marching band.
It rolled down a 50-foot ravine, killing two educators and injuring dozens of students.
Survivors of the crash attended Monday's ceremony, along with relatives of the victims.
