Gov. Andrew Cuomo has admitted he wishes he and everyone else took action against the coronavirus quicker.
"If no one was going to blow the bugle, I would feel much better if I was a bugle blower last December and January, I would feel better sitting here today saying, I blew the bugle about Wuhan province in January.' I can't say that,” says Gov. Cuomo.
In an interview on HBO, Cuomo says in hindsight, we should have worried when China claimed they had the situation under control at the end of 2019.
This appears to be the first time Gov. Cuomo publicly expressed regret for not acting sooner.
Since March, the governor has been aggressive on taking actions to slow the spread of the virus in New York, and he has been widely praised for his actions.
