A Calverton woman whose home went up in flames earlier this week could be getting a new place to live.
Katie Polk says what's left of her trailer home was completely removed on Thursday, but since the fire, people have been donating to a GoFundMe account that was set up for her.
As of Thursday evening, over $66,000 was raised for Polk, which exceeded her expectations by thousands.
Polk said she would like to stay in Calverton if possible.
