It's time to get into the spirit for News 12 Long Island's 12 Weeks of Summer Camp Week! News 12's Erin Colton was in Ronkonkoma to become an honorary cheerleader at Long Island Cheer.

Mark Donnelly, of Long Island Cheer, says the camp has something for every level. He adds that they have beginners, some starting at the age of 3, all the way through high school, with some competing and getting ready for college.

According to Donnelly, team building and bonding are important. He adds that the campers get a good workout and build confidence during the training.

Some of the fundamentals the girls learn are bridges, tumbling, extended level body positions and, of course, cheering!
