Long Island drivers got some more bad news at the pump Thursday.According to AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas on the Island reached just over $4.00. The organization says it expects the average price of gas this summer to peak near $4.23 a gallon. AAA says about 360,000 fewer people are expected to travel for Memorial Day due to the rising gas prices.
