A critical vote that could determine the future of the Nassau Coliseum is set to take place Monday.
The full Legislature is expected to vote on whether or not to transfer the Coliseum's lease to Las Vegas Sands.
The entertainment company has plans to build a $4 billion resort on the site. It would include restaurants, a hotel, a performance space and possibly a casino.
Las Vegas Sands would still need to be awarded a gaming license from New York.
A decision on that is not expected anytime soon.
