In Glen Cove, snowplows lined Pearsall Avenue Monday morning as residents dug out from the storm. Ralph Alois said he’s had enough of winter and is ready for spring.

Over in Oyster Bay, neighbors worked side by side, shoveling out each other’s driveways and clearing sidewalks.

In Garden City, some residents expressed frustration with the relentless winter, while others thanked plow crews for keeping roads passable.

And in Rockville Centre, kids turned cleanup into fun, helping shovel several homes before celebrating with snow angels.

While the digging continues, many say it was the sense of community that helped them weather the blizzard.
