Members of the Chabad Center of Port Washington are in mourning after the loss of two friends in the Mumbai, India terror attacks.
Friends say it's hard to understand why Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka were killed at the Jewish Center they ran in India. The couple's young son was snuck out of the building and survived.
"Everything about them was about giving, embracing total strangers," says Rabbi Sholom Paltiel. "Good people need to fight back with goodness."
Chabad leaders from across the Island are holding a special prayer service Sunday at the Congregation Beth Sholom Chabad in Mineola.
