Freeport residents young and old delivered their best news reports Saturday and Sunday from the annual Nautical Festival, while enjoying the sunny weather and other attractions.

Those in attendance reported stories about the Garden City carousel, Jones Beach and other topics, while also sampling seafood offered by local restaurants and enjoying carnival rides. Organizers say the festival drew record crowds.
