A 23-year-old Freeport man pleaded guilty to assault and manslaughter charges in connection to a DWI crash that left three people dead as they were leaving a Sweet 16 party in New Hyde Park.
Police say Dante Lennon was speeding and intoxicated when he slammed into a Lincoln town car leaving The Inn at New Hyde Park on Jericho Turnpike in May 2022.
News 12 is told Lennon is due back in court in June when he is expected to be sentenced to six to 18 years in prison.
