Beginning July 7, North Fork Link will provide East End tourists with a shuttle service on Saturdays throughout the summer – free of charge and without reservations.
Six buses will be running on a continuous loop across the North Fork from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Riders can board at one of 30 different stops between Riverhead and Greenport.
Train stations will also be among the stops the buses will make.
A state grant helped fund the shuttle service to assist in easing the East End’s traffic congestion.
The shuttle service will run through Aug. 25.
