Former UFC fighter Gian Villante is leading the St. Dominic High School football program as the new head coach this season.
Villante fought in the UFC for 13 years.  Prior to that, he was an all-American linebacker at Hofstra University. This new job is the best of both of his old worlds.
"You know, I'm just trying to get them to sometimes forget they have equipment on and run through someone," says Villante. "I do think these kids are tough enough and smart enough, and they want to learn and they're willing accept my teaching."
