Thomas J. Spota and Government Corruption Bureau Chief Christopher McPartland
have both surrendered to their designated federal prisons, according to a
knowledgeable source.
Both men were convicted of covering up then-Suffolk
Police Chief James Burke's beating of a handcuffed suspect.
