Former President Donald Trump to hold rally at Nassau Coliseum Wednesday night

Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder tells News 12 residents can expect to see an increased police presence in and around the Coliseum.

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Uniondale is set to take place on Wednesday.
The rally will be held at Nassau Coliseum.
Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder tells News 12 residents can expect to see an increased police presence in and around the Coliseum.
"We will make sure that it is one of the safest venues in the country, guaranteed. And then outside we'll have a large gathering, I'm sure, and again, we will make sure that everyone is protected when you come to that date,” said Ryder.
The rally is set to begin at 7 p.m. and doors open at 3 p.m.
